A2P Privacy Policy Requirements: What Carriers Want to See
Sarah Jenkins

Your privacy policy is one of the first things manual reviewers check when evaluating your A2P 10DLC campaign. A generic template from the internet will no longer cut it.
The Golden Rule of A2P Privacy Policies
Carriers are obsessed with preventing the sale and sharing of consumer data. Your privacy policy must explicitly state that you do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS consent to third parties.
The Exact Language You Need
To pass review, embed a clause similar to this in your policy:
"No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties."

Your Privacy Policy must be easily accessible. Place a clear link to it in the footer of your website. Additionally, any lead form that collects a phone number should link directly to this policy next to the SMS consent checkbox.
If you don't have a website, or your website is currently under construction, you must still host a compliant privacy policy somewhere accessible via URL. A simple one-page site is often enough, provided the links are clear.
